Just found out I can post. Wheee!
I joined this forum in Sep because I needed information on my 1967 C10 Shortbed Stepside. Found an ad on Facebook marketplace for it about an hour away. Owned it by noon the next day. It has been converted from 6 stick to a GM goodwrench 350 and TH350 automatic. Power steering and front disc brakes make it very friendly to drive. I have almost worn out the search feature on the forum finding out how do work on the truck. I have replaced the front 6 cyl springs and removed the rear lowering blocks. Put new seatbelts in and replaced the seat foam. Put on new 8" rally wheels with trim rings and police type centers. Love the truck and am looking forward to asking some questions and maybe even answering a few. Thanks to all the guys who posted on how to fix things that I read and don't even know they helped me.
I'm retired and live in Western New York state (400 mi from the City) and won't be driving the truck much til April but it's ready to go on nice days. I will try to post a couple photos as see how that works. Thanks, Chiefdan
