pic of tow hooks please

Could someone please post a pic or two of how the tow hooks bolt to the frame? Location mostley, bottom, side?

Stock ones go in these holes closest to the spring hangers...mine were there till they were stolen so I can only show the pic of the chassis where mine mounted
Pic 2...This is how they mount on 67-68s..notice they are backwards (That's how 67-68s were),also note that the holes for the hooks are different on 67-68s than 69-72s.

Thanks, that's what I thought, but I wanted to check. I knew you could'nt pass up a tow hook question, 1969k10stepside.

They have a set of hooks just like yours 72cheyenne, on ebay now. $400+, and the reserve not met.

Nope...I just wish I still had my hooks..oh well..I may just be in the begining stage of making a reproduced tow hook

I think those are 70 rs/ss's tow hooks. Do you own the black crewcab in your Avatar. I want it.Its been for sale on Ebay twice, The first time it was in Oregon.

my luck with those 67-8 ones. the strap/towing device would slip off and go through a window or something

No not mine. It sold a couple months ago in Denver. Tried to buy it, but my better half said I think it sold somewhere around $20,000. Way worth the dough. Only a three door though.

Yep fake door handle. But still cool. Not a 4 door like extd56 has.

Iv got a set of stock hooks I'm putting on my '69 k10 and when I put them on the hooks are touching the spring hangers. Anyone ever had this issue?

67-68 tow hooks? I was thinking they were 60-68. I'm wondering if I mounted mine the wrong way on my 62.
