ABS clean up

just finishing up a abs cover I fabricated to cover up my battery and other Eectronic's under the hood. I used a black sheet of ABS plastic grainy on one side shinny flat on the other. During the building process the flat side got some very lite scratches on it. Anyone knows of a solution to remove these scratches. Don't really want to paint over them unless I have to. Can ABS be sanded and buffed? Maybe use an interior dying product that is thin enough it will look good. Any thoughts? Thanks

Re: ABS clean up

I help at a body shop a couple days a week. Couple of weeks ago a older guy brought in his Ranger side by side with a plexiglass wind shield with light scratches. They used paint compound and polish. It turned out great. With a small project like yours I would check with a local body shop and see if someone needs some beer money.
