Free Truck!

I have a 72 LWB 1/2 ton that i'm taking some parts off of. I will not be keeping this truck so I am offering it up for FREE. Just come and get it. I will not ship any or all of the truck. The truck will be in the Mt. Clemens area of Michigan. I do own the truck and have the title. If anyone wants it, please let me know before 6/6/03. After that date I will cut it up for scrap.

I'm taking the engine and trans, steering col. vent windows and some int and ext trim parts.
The body is rough but the chassis is good.

Free is always good, but, I would bet that it would go quicker if you put a $50 price tag on it..
I tried to give away a pure bread German Shorthair for free and didnt get one call. I changed the newspaper add to $250 and the phone rang off the hook. Go figure........ Just my free advice!

AESJ2,

What would it take to convince you to sell me that grille?

Lot of good parts there, wouldn't scrap it all. Find a local dealer and sell or trade it to him for what you need.

Yes, the truck has some good parts, it would be great for update of 6 lug to 5 lug. The suspension is heavy duty. I do not have time to remove all of the good stuff to try to sell or swap and get shipped. Truck is for pick up only. If I can't give it away, I will cut it up and haul it to the local metal scrap yard. Maybe I could get enough money from the scrap to buy a case of beer.

Man I could really use the push rod set up off of the power brake stuff if you have it. If you got it let me know. It is like a lever that connects to the rod off of the booster, then to the rod that connects on to the brake pedal.
thanks.
