Parts warehouse east coast

Hi guys,

Hope you'll find a sunny sunday to enjoy your trucks,

Do you know if there's a good store with in stock parts on the east coast, and why not NYC ?

It will be much more easier for me than LA, a bit longer to get there. Even if I really appreciate California.

Thanks,

Re: Parts warehouse east coast

I'm tagging this thread since this is a constant problem for me, in all my hobbies. Everything is on the other side of the Mississippi River.

I head to Paris in September for work. If you need any small parts I can put them in my luggage...

Hello Shaky,

Really kind of you, I have a big order with upholstery and cushions that will be managed by my wife (stewardess), but if in the mean time there are some small parts forgotten, I will let you know. I appreciate.

So East americans don't like old cars ? Strange that there's no reliable store around there.

Re: Parts warehouse east coast

Many states in the northeast have an inventory tax. This might be one reason there aren't a lot of parts houses around here. I'd expect to see more in the Carolinas though...

When Tri-Plus/Key Parts was in NJ that was your best bet. They are now in Lynchburg, VA. There is also The Truck Shop in Charlotte, NC. Nothing I know of in the N/E other than a small type shop that I never heard of. Bill Athey isn't far from Washington, DC in Front Royal, VA. Check our vendor's list. He's listed there

CPI Truck in Roanoke, Alabama. Saw them at Carlisle this year and they have a huge inventory with the standard prices of all the big truck parts suppliers.

Re: Parts warehouse east coast

Alabama isn't the East Coast (Gulf Coast) and TPI is a dime a dozen Johnny come lately outfit with no special redeeming qualities, except they must pay Carlisle Productions a big stack to ramble off their name, throughout the event while the veterans who made this market what it is today get no mention. Ever hear of Heacock Classic Insurance. I only know of them through hearing them on the same list. Bill Athey is in Front Royal about an hour from you. Check the board vendors list for many better alternatives, if you are willing to have parts shipped. You'd have to drive past both The Truck Shop in Carlotte and Key Parts in Lynchburg to get to TPI who sells the aforementioned vendor/manufacturers' goods

Tri Plus\ Key Parts , yep found out about them, unfortunately when they were leaving Jersey and making the move to there new location down south, they were within a thirty minutes or so ride. His name slips my memory but the owner and or partner stopped by my house to pick up blazer doors so to use for a reference to produce new one , nice person and he had a cool looking 53 ? truck. Do wish there was one of them big shop with the big displays and tons of good stuff around here.
