Grille trim ring (shell)

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to bring the shine back into my grill trim? I have it off the truck and figure there must be a way for shinin' it back up with emery paper or some type of polish... any experience thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: Grille trim ring (shell)

I've gone after mine a little using the rubbing compound/polishing compound one-two punch. It brightens things up quite a bit, but I'm thinking it'll take mechanical assistance to really get it shining. A buffer or a Dremel might be the way to go.
