Ha Ha
So you don’t know how to adjust it ?
I’m sure someone will tell me how
Some of us aren’t mechanically inclined

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

these days I feel more mechanically reclined

I haven't pulled an automotive hood for several years but I was removing/replacing hoods quite a bit in my younger years swapping engines frequently

check your hinges for excessive wear and replace as necessary.. sloppy hinges can be difficult to align the hood..

this video should get you through the job, just have to look past the sales pitch for the $$$ bling..

alignment process works for stock hinges as well as long as they're not worn out too far..

and I would use long mask [painters tape] and china markers [slightly sharpened] around finished panels instead of sharpies or paint pens..

good luck!

Here’s some motivation for you

All those vehicles are gone now
And my dog Buddy is dead
But that is what a white suburban looks like

It's not a 72, or a Cheyenne Super, but you need this. A member on here has it.

The color is a shade darker
Almost 50 years newer,
A truck,
But it is a Diesel

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

The Dmax burb would be a sweet cruiser. Imagine 500hp plus 16-20mpg's. You don't have anything in your 72 an older fleet that'll do that I'm guessing. That burb has made some long trips and is proven too.

I thought so too
But, my father in law
Gave me a bunch of grief
When I dropped it in his front field
Says

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I got licenses for both of these in November of 1971. The picture was taken somewhere in southern California circa 1972.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

They had some pretty cool stuff on the suburban’s
But
Seems like you needed to get
A camper
For
The porta potty option

How many people will usually be going along ?
? How far will I be going
How long will I stay ?

It just doesn’t mater
With a toilet so nearby
