American autowire mega fuse

Installing the AAW complete kit . I installed the main harness on step 1 then step 2 wiring up the dash cluster. Now on step 3 the engine kit calls for wires to the megafuse but I dont install that until the last step. Rather than have loose wires hanging I want to mount the megafuse and figure on the firewall next to the battery would be close to everything and accessible. I cant see any harm in mounting it now. Anyone have any ideas about where to mount this and photos if you got them.

Mine is behind the battery and the firewall. There is enough room between with stock battery location. Hides it well.

Here is what I did. I like the look of a side terminal battery.
I was able to tuck most of the wires behind the fender.
The small box on the right is the fuses and the relay for the LS fuel pump.

Re: American autowire mega fuse

I mounted one under the seat on a 51 GMC as there was other wiring and ECU for the LS under there. On my personal builds (48 & 53) I added it to the front side of the body mount frame bracket closest to the battery (passenger side).
