Thumbs up help first timer

new to site think its great to be a member just bought 1972 chevy c-10 it needs body work. seen a site for ebfabman.com is it worth the money .i have done body work in the past with bondo but what is used in its place on this video. does it show you were to cut panels. i hate to butcher my truck. need to replace steering columm will 1981 chevy van columm work. need to replace center link for steering.a inner tie rod end egg shaped hole , what other year truck would work.

Welcome from N Texas Grizz. I believe the van tilts will work as long as the ign switch is not on the column. Your tie rod ends should be available through any good parts house. Mine had them in stock for my 67. I believe the 72's were same up to 87. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The van tilts with the ignition on the dash are easily converted (check our FAQ Submissions page for info). Earl's video shows how to patch using patch panels with little or no filler needed.
