Thank you everyone. I love this thing. Just need to work out a few bugs and finish the wheel tubz in the bed and it should be ready to rock for the summer. Willie and I are pooped from the build but it sure was worth it!

Seth at the end of the day its your creation and you built it. It feels a lot better telling someone you built it with your two hands then saying you bought it done. You should be proud of the build you did a great job.

Nice job. Would you mind posting a few pics of how you terminated the bed wood at the rear by the tailgate? I'm trying to figure out how to do that on mine.

I'll send some pictures tonight Hart_Rod. I can tell you it lays on 1" square tubing. and at the tailgate I used a piece of 1"x2" laying vertically to form a "L" shape. The wood terminates into the L. Hope that makes sense, pictures will help.

Seth - those are perfect, TYVM! Last question, did you just use a factory wood bed kit? If so, did you have to modify it?

I ordered a regular wood kit from bedwood. Just had to trim the 4 corner pieces some not to bad. Easy. I trimmed around wheel wells to just to give me more room

Such an awesome build.

Another question about the engine, is that the Billet Specialties 15-Degree Black Anodized Thermostat Housing?

Have you had any leaking issues with it?

Finally got the rear wheel tubz in primer. I feel like we have more hours in these than any part of the truck. Lol. I'll get paint on them soon. Almost done with all the little stuff. ..
