You never know when you'll run into another member towing home a new toy

I left the house this morning heading to an appointment and as I'm passing my local gas station I spy a red 67 short bed on a trailer , Well I had to stop and look it was a 67 ...I sat there for over 30 minutes waiting and began to think well , where did they go ? Maybe they're just avoiding the truck stalker . Turns out it was Graham57 with a new to him 67 short bed . He found it literally in my back yard . I guess I better start watching the facebook ads . after talking trucks for a few minutes and finding out he was a member I knew I wasn't buying that one off the trailer Nice guy , Nice find . Darn it !

I’ve had similar things happen twice to me, it’s actually a pretty cool time when it does happen. Sounds like you guys had a great morning!

Re: You never know when you'll run into another member towing home a new toy

The next few weeks around here there are a ton of big car shows and always seems to be a lot of builder cars and trucks on trailers looking for a new home so you never know what might be for sale . Doesn't hurt to stop and ask ?

This wasn't the first time my truck stalker persona came out !

Re: You never know when you'll run into another member towing home a new toy

Yeah, I’ve got two members right close to me, but have yet to meet face to face.
When I lived in Columbia SC, I would meet another member at the Charlotte Auto Fair. We’d jabber a little bit then move on with our day.
I’d like to think that one day things will slow down enough to just get out and cruise around, linking up with other members along the way.
If anyone is going to the C-10 meet in Maggi Valley, I’ll be there on Thursday the 23rd.

Just me or does AC/DC get better with age? Angus Young is the.......Surprised you missed that 67, wow. All you got to do is save a Craigslist with something like "less than a 1971" as a search criterion
