Leaf truck exhaust

Does anyone know what the difference is between a coil spring and a leaf spring exhaust system? I installed my present system many years ago and do not recall there being a question. I've inquired to a few suppliers and can not get a firm answer. All the good systems I see are for coil spring only! I really don't want to take it to a exhaust shop. Would prefer Stainless. My present pipes are rusty (really the only rust on the truck)and can't really be tightened down to the mufflers anymore (replaced the mufflers quite a few times). Read somewhere 73 and up pipes will fit.

Re: Leaf truck exhaust

I just installed a dual exhaust on my 71 leaf spring truck..previous owner purchased a spring truck exhaust system for it(came with the truck when I purchased it) and I had to cut it up a lot to make use of it. A lot more bends in the spring truck
