Re: 1970 C10 full GSI air ride

I know this is an old thread, and this is a dumb question, but how long was the install on the GSI kit?
I kick myself in the ass for not buying it when it first came out, I could have bought the front and rear for damn near the price the front is now.....
Reason I ask is, my son is turning 15 and (for us Mexicans haha) its a big deal, and I want to get him this kit for his 72 and it will be a little father son project for us.... can't wait to have both our trucks laying frame at sonic on Friday nights....

Re: 1970 C10 full GSI air ride

It took me 8 months working by myself in the evenings after working all day lol. Most of that time was spent on bed modifications, shaving firewall and learning to do paint and body. The suspension itself is really easy, it comes with good instructions.

A few pictures from the first time I finished it. I'm currently doing a LS swap hope to have it back on the road in the next month or so.

Re: 1970 C10 full GSI air ride

Jesus.

My son just told me he wants to do a short bed conversion. haha it looks so good man, keep it up!

What fuel tank are you running on it? we are planning to keep it SBC but we might move towards LS swap later on, we did my 91 Foxbody last year and it wasn't bad at all.... we wanted a fast ford, so there was only one option!
