Just an idea '72, you might take a glance at my pictures in my thread below of when my car was originally painted a few years back. That coat of paint is called Frost Metallic Silver, I believe and I'll tell you what. Those pictures don't do justice to how wicked that color is in person. Just an example...

Yeah I'm kinda thinking about what colors might go with the olive interior since I'm not gonna change that. I'm still looking for a forest green seat from an 88-98 gm truck. I'm gonna keep mentioning that until one of you saps find me one!

I don't know that I have ever seen a green seat out of a 88-98 truck. Most of the green trucks went with gray interior.

I wish someone had a camera to watch the attack of the killer leaves!!

I guarantee it was a sight that you wouldn't forget. The same as the one the other day where we were at Taco Mayo about to get something to eat and he revs the engine and the throttle got stuck and he's slamming his foot down multiple times to get it loosened LOL! Hotstepper

Dang Hyper, for some reason I hadnt been getting e-mail updates on your build thread. Ran accross it and had a couple pages of reading to do! Anyway its lookin great, the interior is really looking nice! That green seat your after may be hard to find, though Im sure I have seen one at some point. When I do seats I was planing on some 01 or newer chevy buckets, extreamly comfortable and the seat belts are all built in to the seat. I will keep an eye out for a green bench as well.

Lol, cracks me up when that throttle gets stuck. You'd have thought a cigarette fell out on the new carpet and he was trying to stomp it out.

Hey did you notice that it didn't float the lifters? Weird, it sounded like it hit 7000 rpm but no cut out. Anyway, I'll have to figure out what's hanging up. It didn't do it until I hooked up the secondaries for the quadrajet so I'll start there. Who knows what the problem will be though. I pulled the starter loose, put it back and the truck wouldn't start but after 2 days of screwing with it, it didn't have anything to do with the starter. The neutral safety switch just happened to go out. I'll bet ya I can put some new screws in my brake lights and the throttle will quit stickin.

Well, seems like you have a great truck that will soon be an even greater truck! One that sounds good outside and will sound good inside too. LOL
