Re: New Headlight Help

I Love those amber corners! I never really liked clear corners even when they first came out.

Those are really nice, and different. I still like the clear corners, but I'm not a fan of the totally transparent ones...I like the ones with the oe-style, reflector-type texture inside. Like this:

I actually just bought these off Ebay; mine were hurting...I'm missing one lens and one of the others has a corner cracked off.

That's awesome, I never woulda thought to check RockAuto. Thought they only did OEM-type parts. Imaginary rep points to you my friend!

Thank Google! I found it by accident. I wouldn't have thought about them either.

I agree with the totally clear corners but I wondered if TYC would have something that matched. I usually prefer the clear textured look as well. I would like to see those ambers 1baggmc suggested installed. They are unique.

Re: New Headlight Help

Has anyone used the stock headlights and parkn lights from rockauto.com, their prices are very low compared. Are they a good company to deal with??? Thanks for any info.

I can't vouch for the quality of their replacement headlights, but I can say that RockAuto is a very good place to buy from. I've used them several times before.

Thanks, they look like a really good deal to me.

Re: New Headlight Help

I've never personally used RockAuto, but my father-in-law swears by them. I'll probably be using them when I start building up my '91 GMC.

I've bought them, basically the same as you'd get anywhere else. They're imported of course, probably what your local bodyshop would get from their supplier as "stock replacement".

The only issue I've seen with rock is if you order stuff that does not all come from the same warehouse shipping can get high.

Re: New Headlight Help

I've ordered some stuff from them and they have been great. Their prices are usually a lot better than your local parts store and I've never had high shipping. I even had an incorrect part and they had a replacement part in a couple days.

I saw TYC brand, replacement style, lights at rockauto. If the clear style are good quality I would think that these would be as well.
