67 flt sht bd-Large or small window??

Putting together a 67 sht bed fleetside.I have the option of ;small window-no a/c or big window w/a/c. I guess that this will be a tough question to answer accurately, Everyone has a different taste, but I have heard that small window is rare. Rarity seems to dictate higher price and since I like both ,I thought that value would be the deciding factor .Looking for answer based on Value,,not Preference. Thanks-Keith

Re: 67 flt sht bd-Large or small window??

If you are putting a truck together, i don't think a small window will add much value. Depending on where you live, the A/C would probably add more. Most 67 trucks came with a small window...

Re: 67 flt sht bd-Large or small window??

I personally prefer the small window though on a fleet where I wanted resale the big seems to be the choice. It is an option in 67 but standard after.I think the build quality and fit and finish of the truck will be the deciding factor as far as price.
If I were shopping for a "perfect" truck it would be a 67 small rear window stepside. As it is I have never owned a 67-72 Chevy pickup.

Re: 67 flt sht bd-Large or small window??

The small window is only considdered rare for the entire year group (67-72) In 67 it is actualy more rare to have the big window cab. A/C is a bigger consideration if you are thinking resale value. WES

Re: 67 flt sht bd-Large or small window??

I like the small window on stepsides and big window on the fleets.

Can't really say that a 67 small window is worth any more or less than a comparable big window truck, but shortbed fleetside A/C trucks seem to bring a little more than longbeds and stepsides with no A/C.
