Bikini Top without roll bar attempt
Since the summer heat and rain is coming soon.. i decided to try an attempt of a K5 blazer bikini top... the problem was.... i don't have a roll bar. Here is my 3 part plan
1) Buy a Thule x prosporter rack. (apparently there are a bunch of people that only need one rack and when i went to the surf store they sold a 1/2 set at half price) it is adjustable with width and height and can lie flat on the rails and out of sight or go as high as the top of the window frame. link for product here https://www.thule.com/en-us/roof-rac...er-pro-_-500xt 2). buy a snap header built for blazers from soft topper link here https://www.softopper.com/accessorie...mmy-header-bar 3) buy a bikini top for a cj7 from besttop and have a marine shop cut it slightly to match the header an add 17 snaps to the front of the bikini to match the softoppper header idea borrowed from this website about the cj almost being a perfect fit link here https://69-chevy-blazer.tumblr.com/p...op-fabrication I ordered everything and So far the Thule fit perfectly with no drilling or cutting ( fits right on top like it was made for a blazer )and i have the added benefit of adding surf boards to the blazer with ease... see attached photo [IMG]  [/IMG][IMG]  [/IMG][IMG]  [/IMG]
