Who’s using Tanks Inc Universal tank UT-N-2H?

With This tank, the fill neck lines up on the wood bed metal strip. I don’t want to cut the metal strip in order to install the flush mount fill cap. I want to angle it so I can mount the flush mount filler in the middle of a board.
Has anyone done this and if so what fittings, hose, etc did you use?
Thanks for your help

Re: Who’s using Tanks Inc Universal tank UT-N-2H?

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=621177 I started this thread a while ago and it wraps up with me installing the tank you are asking about. I covered my filler cap install in there too. (Yep, cut bedstrip, but not like you think) Tank still works great today, but the universal sender is a bit "off". It stays on full for a little too long and then I run out of gas at 1/8 of a tank remaining on the guage. Now I know, so I fill up when it hits 1/4. (Probably could be adjusted but I'd have to raise the bed to do it.) Edit: I never told where my check valve breather/vent is... I ran it up the rear passenger's side stake pocket. It does give off a few fumes when you're standing there on a hot day, but it is a good spot to stash it up nice and high.

AcampoDave Good work. Thanks for the idea for sure. I‘ve already bought a flush mount cap so hoping someone’s gone down this path and can share what parts were used to do this.
