They are gonna look good! What material are you planning on covering the seats with?

Re: Raising the bed floor 67cheby

nice colour are you going to do parts of the dash and the steeringwheel in that material too?

a tuck and roll center should look noce in those seats and it will prolly hide the difference in the center of the two seats

Cool. Ya mine had all factory guages. The only thing that was aftermarket was a little amplifier for the stereo that was tapped into the harness. You should see the pigtail for it.

Re: Raising the bed floor 67cheby

if you can stretch the leather enough to fall intoo the fingerdimples in the rear you might be able to upholster the hoop of the steeringwheel ...... glue it all the way around and use stitching on the inside of the hoop use satin paint on the rest it will prolly hold a lot better against rubbing then straight paint , should do a good job at covering cracks on an old steeringwheel too
might even be able to use the leather on the top part of the colum maibe make double stitched buttonholes on the indicator lever and the other stuf stickin out of it

Satin. The interior needs to compliment the exterior w/o taking the focus away or seeming like it's one non-ending canvas.

What was your process for filling in the slots, did you use one piece or many small pieces?

Re: 67cheby DM 3.2 install, W/PB 4link, PB hood hinges

the shop where my truck is currently Mayhews Race Cars did the mod , he used one single piece, he also made some mounting tabs underneath that lock it in place , since the screws on top are gone, he did a sweet job

well they say you must go backwards to go forward...... so here is my backwards, forward progress from last night , stripped the frame flipped it over to finish the welds on the bottom, stripped the bed to bare metal dropping it off at the body shop today

Sucks about the color, but the rear end looks great. Who is setting up your gears?
