Re: 1970 Longbed Build

Change of plans (again). Decided to pick up a strong running 350 out of a Chevelle from a buddy. I'm going to put this in and get it to the bodyshop to finish the truck up for the next owner.

Cleaning up the motor today.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: 1970 Longbed Build

Got the motor in, and pretty close to getting it fired up.

Wheels are back from the powdercoaters. 15x6.5" with Chevy Astro van centers with 235/75/15 up front.

Re: 1970 Longbed Build

She's back from the dead. Motor runs great and just got all four new tires mounted up with powdercoated rally wheels.

Off to the bodyshop later today...

Re: 1970 Longbed Build

Back from paint today. It's amazing how little time I have with two little screaming mouths every 1.5-3 hours right now, around the clock. I was hoping to have paint done weeks ago.

Anyway, I need to pick up some bumpers and I think she's good to go.
