Re: Goldfinger nachos big brother

Come on Man! You can't beat this sweet seat cover... I can't wait for it to arrive. Goldfinger is going to look legit from the floor to the doors... I like the idea of a completely fresh interior. no details spared. It is originally equipped with a rubber mat. I'm not sure if I want to use the mat or rock the new carpet. remember we're building a complete driver. I tell you what a hounds tooth headliner would be sick.... I might have to talk to Tim about that request. the door panels will stay the same just freshened up. new dash pad and arm rest of course.
To answer the question of the drop member, we do not plan on using a drop member only because it would defeat the purpose that we set out to do. Like I said before both Eric ,and I want to build a truck that can be built on a realistic budget. Don't get me wrong those drop members are bad a$$ . Maybe on our next build... Right now we're collecting all the parts. The list of upgrades to Goldfinger will transform it into quite the driver. Power Steering, Power Disc brakes, convert the 3 on the tree to a th400 Automatic, Sweet little sound system. Sorry no CB on this rig.... last but not least , a static drop 5/7

Killer truck guys! I like the "everyman" kind of build idea too. Thats what the plan was with the Ghost. 5.5, 7 drop is a perfect set up for a daily driver and converting to Auto trans is a great move. Im watching!

Re: Goldfinger nachos big brother

Nice solid truck to start with. I've been thinking about picking up something like for this for a daily. My beater corolla I'm driving now is about to turn over 300,000 miles and it's getting pretty rough. Maybe it's time for me to hit up craigslist. You guys are a bad influence on me

Yeah both Eric and I discussed the potential of building a truck that most people would have passed on just because of the old camper , and it being a longed. let me tell you this when it's done there will be plenty of people interested in it and open to the idea that long beds are just as cool as short bed.

Yeah CL is the bomb when it comes to c10 here in the Sacramento / San Francisco Bay Area. You have to look deep and find the diamonds in the ruff. Follow any and every lead..... you should see the next truck that Eric and I are about to get.... 72 Sierra Grande short fleet fully loaded. It's going to blow some minds...
