They will fit. I had them on once. I think they are a little short for a truck. If they were 60 series, they would fill the wheel well better.

Why not go with 275/60-15 they will fit, also taller 28". 295/50-15 rim width 8-11 perfered 9.5 tire only 26.7" tall. You check out all tire sizes @ www.tirerack.com put the size in that you need then check specs. hope this helps.

Re: Found it....295/50-15. Quick response plese.

I am running 295/50/15s on 9" and 8" rims without trouble. However a few months ago, you could not find a 295/50/15 BFG to save your life in Wichita or anywhere close. I did find Coopers at Bosley's but that was all. Which store has the BFGs for sale?

Here's what they look like on a 15X8 -- a little short as already noted...

This one gives a little better perspecitve on the amount of 'buldge'

295 is a wide tire on an 8" IMO. The widest I would put on 8" is a 285. I run 255's on my 8", 275's on my 10's. Both are 60's. BFG's.

I have been running 295s on 8" rims for a long time. My show truck is 9" rims, but the DD and my son's truck are 8" rims and no issue what ever.

Here are some 275/60's on a 15x10" rim. Im planning on going back to them after I rub off all the rubber on my 265/75's but need to drop it down a couple of inches.

I'd say 8" wheel at the least. I've had no luck with BFG's as far as wear, especially on front. I like Dunlop much better. I've had Dayton's that wore good also.

I apologize - I thought about this after I was home and thought about this thread.

No, you can't get the 285's.

I edited my post to say what I am correctly running. I had a brain fart/tongue slip.

Just an FYI though - Coker does offer a blackwall version of that whitewall they sell - but it isn't the Radial T/A.

They have 2 brand new 285/70/15's that they are going to make a remake of the BFG Radial T/A from eventually though.

I still have my old ones as well. They are kind of like that Auto Meter 3-3/8" Fuel Gauge.
