1969 Gmc 3/4 ton pickup 8 lug rear end

Im in the process of swaping out the rear end. But was wondering if I could just make my life easier and instead of swaping out the entire rear end just change out the axles instead. with these

Does any one know if this will work on a 3/4 ton or if the ECE axle conversions will work.

No. You need a complete half ton axle housing assembly with the same attachement style as your truck. Coils and trailing arms or leafs depending on what you have.

The full-floater axles that were in the 3/4 ton trucks don't go together the same way as the half tonners.

Apples and oranges. The housing and everything related is different size. So if your cahnging to 5 lug you need a 5 lug rear. Jim

Even if I have a 10 bolt rear end? Sorry for the newb questions. Just trying to convert it to 5 lug all the way around and looking for the quickest and most efficient route. I have a friend who had 8 lug in the back and these conversion axles worked for him.
