1970 chevy c20 longed stepwise disc brake question

I know this has been talked about on here many times but I just want to make sure I'm getting the right info and parts

My c20 already has front disc brakes as far as the old owner told me they are out of some kind of buick. Dont ask I don't know haha.

I got a front end kit for it with tie rods and ball joints and put them in but the ball joints don't fit in the spindle. Spindle holes are too small. Not sure what spindle is out of

I've heard a lot about 71/72 disc brakes bolt right up. I want to know for sure if the spindles off of a 1971/1972 c20 will bolt right up to my 70 c20 ball joints. If so I can get myself 71 spindles hubs and calipers and have my truck moving again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

One way to find an answer is to look up the part numbers for each:

'72 C20 = K6122 (Moog upper) K6129T (Moog lower)
'70 C20 = K680 (Moog upper); K6025 (Moog lower)

I've never swapped a '70 C20 to '72 C20 discs but I would bet they utilize a different spindle & different BJ's after doing this 2min internet search.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
