If that thing wasn't on the other end of the world, I would look at it. I don't know if I could get my wife to go up in that country to pick up another truck or not. I'm betting she would stay here and have the locks changed while I'm gone.
Lol on changing the locks😂

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Odd orphan 68. Great for your vintage race car. $5000. Not mine. I really like that they put the barn doors on it. I'd ditch the wing and stacks and put some nice side rails for a cool daily driver. With the 455 it's a tire smoking machine.

https://bend.craigslist.org/pts/d/un...087684340.html

Custom built trailer puller/ pickup. She's a 1968, 455 olds powered, TH400, twin radiators, on board air tank, adjustable air dam, roller side boxes, a/c, mileage computer, AND MORE!!!!!!!!!

NO RUST!!!! Brakes work, turns nice, but does "not" run.

Guessing this was built in the late 60's, how many hours were put into this??

NO TEXT!!!! CALLS ONLY!!!!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Nice 71 C20 looks to be solid from here. Not mine so I've never seen it in real life. $9750. It looks to be fairly priced for today's market.

https://portland.craigslist.org/yam/...117718334.html

Chevy Truck. This is a 1971 C-20 3/4 Ton truck. 80,934 original miles. I am the second owner (Fall of 2013). The first owner replaced the engine and repainted the truck some time ago, but the paint has faded (oxidized).

There are extra replacement pieces (Steering wheel, new weatherstripping for doors, new dash bezel). Older photos with truck topper on the truck (Topper has been stored in garage, but will go with the truck). Maintenance records (Some records from the previous owner and all records of work since I have owned it). I replaced the carburetor, muffler, tires are relatively new.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

It's back, This was listed about 2-3 months ago for if memory serves me right $4000 because I emailed to a friend who was supposedly looking for a 133" WB DRW. It evidently did not sell and now they want $7500.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

This seems to be a trend, have seen many trucks in the last 6 months listed, pulled, price raised and re-listed. As if we wouldn't remember... Kinda like a savvy buddy called him and said "hey, I just watched Barrett Jackson dude, that truck is worth 10 times what you're asking!!" It appears to be a nice C30 drw, but think the fair price point was closer to the original asking price. I'm surprised it didn't sell back then.

Hard to say whether a repaint, but it does appear to be the dark blue to match the interior perfectly (unless, of course, the whole thing was repainted a factory correct dark blue inside and out). And I see no indication of paint divider trim along back of cab, so likely originally a solid color. If I were the seller I'd sell those aluminum holey things on CL and stick the steelies he has in the bed back on there. Looks like original outie PO3s too.

72 C10 Custom Deluxe Highlander restored + rally wheels $28.9K
I do believe carpet should be black if originally a Highlander. With no a/c and no tilt, it's either a YG6 or seat-trim only truck.

If you look at the pics of the lower molding, you can see the two tone behind the molding. If they painted it they took the trim off.

I'm not seeing what you're talking about, can you elaborate? factorystock's question and my reply were about the solid dark blue C20 Cheyenne Super in post 8013.

Agreed. It may be the lighting, but I think it's a repaint.
