Help installing LMC fenders

I rolled the dice and bought 2 fenders for my 68. The driver's side fit surprisingly very well. But on the passenger side, the gap between the fender and door needs adjusting. When I open the door, it pinches the fender at the bottom. I can't seem to adjust the fender anymore or is there something I'm not seeing?
Any ideas?

No new pins and bushings. The door gap at the back is ok, although I did have it off at one time. Another note too, the fender bolts/washers are rusty. Is there something I can soak them in to clean off the rust?

The hood is still off, I'm wondering if I should put that on and then make final adjustments? Its the cowl and the top of the fender that needs adjusting

Re: Help installing LMC fenders

Some pictures would help I got LMC fenders for my truck it takes a lot of adjusting and in some cases enlarging the holes you may find that the doors have to be moved out word or in word the fenders also may need to be moved forward in which case you’ll have to loosen up your inner fenders and Core support

Re: Help installing LMC fenders

Since its sloping down what if I were to loosen the 4 bolts for the inner fender that's bolted to the firewall and shim it so that its running up? Tighten the two top bolts and shim the two bottom ones?

Re: Help installing LMC fenders

Have you replaced any of your body mounts or radiator core support mounts Worn out radiator core support could cause your problem if it’s sloping down

Good point. I did not replace any of those but my core is rusty. I was going to replace it at this time but decided to wait till another time.

Something else I was thinking if I loosen the bolts to my door hinge I can adjust the gap between door/fender? I'm going try it tomorrow.
