Struggling - Lower Piller Placement
Hi all,
49' AD Struggling to get the door fitment correct. Can someone provide measurements for the following if possible. Any help would help immensely. - Door width at top of floor, from seal area to seal area. I'm measuring 35.5 but that doesn't seem correct since the door is wider then this. -Does the lower piller sit flush with the floor or slightly lower? Front and back piller. A photo of this would be great. Thanks all. Last edited by David Bartlett; 06-13-2020 at 04:34 PM. |

Re: Struggling - Lower Piller Placement
If you could provide photos of where you want the measurements taken it would help..
But we've compared measurements on AD trucks in the 47-54 section before and found they were small differences due to manufacturing

Re: Struggling - Lower Piller Placement
Level with the top of the floor, I'm getting 36" wide
Should the piller be slightly below the floor line? |

Re: Struggling - Lower Piller Placement
It’s a Good idea to hang the door once you get it tack up before you get to far into welding
