Decals for lettering on tailgate

I've been working on my 68 and sanded the tailgate and shot it with epoxy primer. I then taped around the lettering on the tailgate and shot it with a different color. The mistake(s) I made was using painters tape (the blue one) to mask off around the letting because it allowed painted for the letters to run underneath the tape. Needless to say it looked really bad when I pulled the tape off. But I think for now, I will paint it all the same color (epoxy primer white). I'm wanting to buy decals for the lettering for now until I can paint her. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy the decal lettering? Appreciate any help with this.
Thanks.

No help on where to buy, What color letters are you looking for, white?...also fine line tape works the best for all sharp crisp lines, then fill in with painters tape.

Re: Decals for lettering on tailgate

I bought a set of letters from Classicparts.com Never ended up using them but they looked to be good quality.

When you get to painting your letters and if your painting the entire tailgate I have a write up here on how I did mine, it worked really good. It takes some time but the results are worth it.

Lots of retailers sell the stickers. Classic heartbeat, Gmc Pauls, Classic parts, etc. LMC and Brothers are not always honest about parts in stock. Classic parts has easy shipping costs.
