Battery Relocation / 70 Stepper

Im going to LS Swap my 70 stepper when it comes home from restoration shop and will need to relocate the battery due to the filter box I plan to use off our 2011 Silverado donor ,( not a stock box ) , can it be mounted under the bed like on a Fleetside ? Im also considering ordering an auxialliary battery box for a 4x4 for the driver side , Thoughts , or better ideas ?

I used an auxiliary battery box on my '67 Chevy Panel Truck. It bolted right up and worked great.

Under the bed would work if you have a heavy duty battery and use welding cable for the battery cables. I have the battery in my '39 Ford Coupe in the trunk and if the connections on the starter, frame or battery posts get a little corroded it cranks over really slow.

John I was going to suggest you find the auxiliary under hood battery tray so to keep the cables shorter and be much easier to get to than under the bed.
