Installed my Glorified Holley Last Night

Recieved my Demon 750 the other day and finally got the time to throw her on last night and take her for a spin....She runs like a CHAMP! No leaks no problems! Love the hell out of it!!! Still think im in need of some bigger heads but it runs alot better than that old 650 Holley did.

Re: Installed my Glorified Holley Last Night

I just got a wiring diagram of the truck and traced down what i needed and what i didnt need, getting rid of your tbi distributor and manifold would be step 1 then eliminating wires will come pretty easy after that

Re: Installed my Glorified Holley Last Night

Its a Speed Demon. Its a Proform water pump the bracket setup is from Marsh Performance thought it was gonna be a cheap conversion come to find out i had to buy the $175 Marsh alternator bracket adapter. Summit told me i would have to buy an additional bracket adapter for the powersteering pump but with a little modification and ingenuity i got my pump to mount and line up just perfect. you can get both bracket adapters for $300 for a set i believe, but will need the alternator one for sure well worth the money to figure it out on your own though

Don't have to worry aout that with a demon. I love my 650 speed demon on my 361 sbc. Fires right up and doesn't have to be tuned every other day!

how is blowing a power valve not a big deal???

anyway, I have personally run demons of all sizes,625 road demon on a stock crate 350,650 road demon on a built 355, a 750 speed demon on a mild 454 an my pops had a pair of boost referenced 850 mighty demons on his blown 540 bbc. I have NEVER seen another carb that is so finicky and hard to tune much less reliable in my life. When I worked for summit racing, we quit carrying demon because 80% of them came back to us. I have holleys or QFT carbs on my vehicles now.
