Since there’s some bike talk here I thought I’d post a random photo of my bicycle that’s getting refurbished. I was going to hold off on posting a picture until it was reassembled and start a separate thread.
I’m getting anxious.
I’ll tell the story on it later.

Looks like a quality alloy frame. I should get out there and work on my old bike now. First I have to try fixing my washing machine, if it's a simple fix. Good to see you do some riding, too

UMI booth it's a 1987 so it has TBI . They set it up for the power tour this year that never happened. He wanted the burban badly for next years power tour. Told him I would talk to the new owner

We went to a drought tolerant front yard awhile back. There must be some bugs living in the wood chips, because we have literally dozens of those critters running around our place. Outside, of course.

This little guy was attached to our sliding glass patio door last week. The body was about 3/4" long.

I liked that dull blue original paint '78 Custom Deluxe Short bed in the car corral much much better. I think I'd leave the paint be, but a repaint on that would yield a much nicer blue.

I had a '78 Scottsdale Camper Special 30 454/4spd w/woodfloor in that color. You can catch a glimpse of it in the background behind CCC-2. The picture was taken when I first bought the '78, before I outfitted it for wok where it became CCC-4

Our son who lives just up state from Santa Barbara (Los Olivos) tells me his power is still off from a heck of a lightening storm and hard rain that hit some hours ago.. not sure how far this photo'd place of this guy in the sky ,,but doubt if it was near my sons.. good photo take by the way .

I think Chevyland is on the Atlantic side in New England (Massachusetts). Pretty deceiving since that's a sunset over the water.

That's what I loved about Buxton, NC on Cape Hatteras. That is the outermost point where the lighthouse is. You are 70 miles out from the mainland there. You get the sunup and sunset over the open water. I wish I had pictures I took on the computer

What do you have going on there? Paint in the shower of some sort of waterproofing I've never seen?

Two 40 year old Schwinn bicycle inner tubes. I replaced the dry rotted tires and these look good to go another 40. Made in USA from quality materials intended to last a while, as if they were concerned with quality and giving you your money's worth. Probably cost 1/10 what tubs from over seas cost today from a factory that might pay the equivalent to the cost of one tube a week to the worker while the American business man gets more per tube. It's a wonderful world economy we have stooped down low into
