temp gauge
Need to find out how to check the temp gauge on my 71 blazer. I was thinking that if I connect the wire form the sending unit to the bat. (+) the gauge should read hot? is that correct or is the an other way to test it?

Unplug sending unit...reads cold. Ground sending unit...should read hot. If needle don't move...other problem.

Ok, gauge is ok. I gess that means that the sending unit is bad, will have to get a new one tomorrow. Thanks Longhorn
