It's called golf because all the other four letter words were taken.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

Some one needs to start a K5 museum.

Thanks for the info. It gives me a good idea of what my odds of finding a good one are.

Thanks for the lead. Went to the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, TN today, only saw 4 blazers there. Only two were for sale and they were asking a kings ransom.

In WV yes you can get a title with just a Bill of Sale notarized of course and some kind of letter of origin from the PO. With trucks your putting together from parts just need a BOS for the major parts like frame, cab. Someone from the Sheriff office has to eyeball the #'s and run them for stolen.

tennessee department of licensing site

http://www.tennessee.gov/safety/T%26RFAQs.html
That is the site I found this info on:

5. QUESTION: How can I get a duplicate title:

ANSWER: An application for a duplicate certificate of title may be filed through the Title and Registration Division either in person or by mail. Office hours for this service are 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. When filing in person, you must furnish proof of identity, such as a driver license or photo identification card. If someone other than the owner of the vehicle files, they must show proof of identification and have a notarized power of attorney from the owner. If filing by mail, the Certification for Duplicate Certificate of Title, Form SF-0964, must be completed in its entirety and forwarded to our office with the fee of $5 and any discharge of lien if applicable. This form is available at county clerk offices or a written request for the form can be sent to Title and Registration Division, 44 Vantage Way, Suite 160, Nashville, TN 37243-8050.
