Re: Help me Rock My Ride and possibly win $500 for your truck...

Well you could get some kinda advertizment fee for putting the board logo on your truck.

I mean WHEN *yes i'm that confident* you win, it'll be all over the web page and be big news. You gotta think like a NASCar driver now. I think they get $400K for the little stikers on their fenders and $1mil+ for the hood.

Its a marketing move. The board will gain members, and you have a cool truck, its win win.

Re: Help me Rock My Ride and possibly win $500 for your truck...

Am i the only one that finds it odd that you are exactly 50 votes ahead everyday? There might be a glitch in their counting system. So far over the past three days you have always been exactly 50 votes ahead. Maybe they (the radio station) are doing that to keep competition on your heels and keep the others participating. Listeners might give up if you won by an absolute landslide.

Shawn,

I also thought that it was odd. I write the tally down each day and that is 3 days in a row where the score was exactly 50 numbers apart. I think that my numbers for the first day are not exactly correct, but I show exactly a 25 vote difference after the first day of voting. I'll bet that you are right about your theory, but that thought never occurred to me. Also, I thought that it was odd that teh contest went from "Sweet 16" to "Sweet 17" after the first day? Was the Mustang added as a prop? I didn't pay close enough attention to know whether or not it was there n the first day.

Interesting... Although, I don't want to make any assumptions, I am going to forge full steam ahead. It would suck to lose this contest...!

I noticed the 17 thing too. They added the extra hearse. Now there are two. I think there was only one the first time.

Awesome! Thanks...

Th great thing about the board supporting me so well is that there *is* a good chance that one of the Board Members will have a good chance at winning the $500. Good luck to everyone...
