The rebuild includes a complete disassembly and inspection for worn or broken parts which are replaced.

This is followed by cleaning and polishing all the SS trim. We use high quality parts in the restoration from Classic Chevy Truck Parts of America

We replace all the window weatherstriping using the correct rivets, reline the vertical division bar, and replace both handles with new ones.

The tinted glass is new as well. I may have some very nice original tinted glass with some very small scratches if anyone is interested.

All the chrome is replated by Performance Plating.

This is a high quality restoration and far superior to the reproductions that are currenly on the market.

Price is $505.00 plus shipping.

Please email with any questions or need additional pictures.

I will be restoring several more sets later this summer when I have time. If you have interest in a pair let me know. I'll put you on the list.

I'm working on several sets of vent windows if anyone is still interested. 01/09/2014

Re: Restored Vent Windows

Roger,

I'm very interested in a set of these vent windows. Is there anyway I could get a set, but could I get some different vent glass in them? I'm looking at or will be using glass from Bob's Classic Auto Glass. Here is the quick link http://www.vendio.com/stores/bobscla...i/lid=33729133
They provided a tempered smoked grey (44%) vent shade glass that I would like to incorporate into the vent shades? Do you have any problem using this glass?

Please PM me with any questions, concerns, etc..

Thanks again,
Chance

I can do a set with your glass, but I have not done a set with glass by this company. My only concern is fitment. I've had glass from other companies that are to big or the hole for the knob is to small. You might check on these issues.

Let me know what you plan on doing because I have 2 sets coming back from the chrome plater next week. I will be putting them together at that time.
Thanks Roger

Roger, I will take a set. Please PM with your info. As for the tinted glass from Bob's classic Auto glass, if you don't mind I will have them drop ship the tinted vent windows straight to you if that works?

Please let me know.

Thanks again,
Chance

Hey Roger and Chance, did you end up doing a set with this glass? Did it work out okay and how did it look? I'm interested in a set if the glass fits and looks good.
Thanks

They looked great. The glass was thicker then what I'm used to. We had to locate a thinner window set tape so the glass would install properly. Other than that, everything turned good. If you want a set done, order and have them ship me the glass direct. I should have 4 sets coming back from the chrome plater next week, and can do them at that time. Let me know.

Thanks Roger
