.023 vs. .025 welding wire

I have a little 110 wire feed welder with gas and lately I,m not having much luck finding 023 wire now,the smallest is 025.I,m almost running out..Do you think I will notice much,I,m doing patch repair on a quarter panel.

Worst case you will have slightly more grinding to do since you are laying down slightly more material. I used .030" on my last body work project because I couldn't find .025.

I've been buying all my wire off ebay...I just looked and there's plenty of .023 on there to chose from.

.023, .024 & .025 wire, contact tips and drive wheels are all interchangeable with each other. Different manufacturers use different discription but essentially all the same.

I bought a 10 pound spool of .023 on Amazon just a couple of weeks ago.

I think a thousandth or 2 isn't a big deal. Have you looked into what a thousandth is?
