Unknown trim piece.

Kind of goes with my seat belt question. Does anyone know where this trim piece goes. It is off my 78 Blazer and I think it goes with the back seat but I could be wrong. Might go with the passenger front seat. Just can't remember what it covers up. Almost got this thing back together.

Re: Unknown trim piece.

This piece is only about 11 inches long. The cover for the rear seat release is at least twice that long and I already have that installed.

That piece goes under the back of the console.

Re: Unknown trim piece.

Mystery solved I think. I don't think anyone would have gotten this one. It is the mounting bracket for the center console. I think it mounts on the back set of holes to make the console sit more level. Please correct me if I am wrong and post a picture.
