Bucket Seat Restpre

With 210,00 miles of use on my drivers bucket seat .... it needs help. I found a place in Piqua Ohio who will restore my front seat for $200. Will take about 2 hours to do it. They have been in business for 44 years so that's is where I will be going.

Re: Bucket Seat Restpre

Get decent butt foam from The Seat Shop. I think they call it Durofoam.
Replacing the butt foam is easy. The bottom seat cover is part of the job.
That exact same fabric is available on evilbay if the original is shot to pieces. There are two different fabrics that look similar. Yours and mine have the larger bluish and redish diamonds. The other type is dots. My motor donor seat had the dots.
Seat fabric.

RTFM... GM Parts Books, GM Schematics, GM service manuals, and GM training materials...Please include at least the year and model in your threads. It'll be easier to answer your questions.
And please let us know if and how your repairs were successful.
