I can’t get over how BADASS the view is driving around. I told my buddy it’s like my girlfriend just got BIG fake tits!! Still need to do inner panel patches so back window is out. It’s in safari mode right now haha.

Took the truck to my buddy Jonathon. He is a sheetmetal madman. He made the patch panels for the corners.

So happy with the progress. At this point I had ground the welds with a 4” flapper disc.

For the final grind I used a 2” angle grinder with 80 grit and scotch brite rolock wheels. Then I taped it and clear coated it.

Yesterday I installed the window. The patch panels install is not perfect, but DAMN I am HAPPY with the end result!!!

Then today this happened.....

This pic was taken just before I washed the truck up for Dino's and goodguys. This 1961 truck has been my favorite truck so far!! Its going to a good home I am happy with the sale. On to my 1960 apache project
