door glass

have a 48 gmc 1/2 ton, want to replace door glass, how do i do that

Click on the old car manual link I posted and it brings up the pages out of the shop manual that detail how to change the window.

i don't have screws to remove the glass, not sure how it is fasten

if its like my '49 chevy, there are "clutch head" screws - they look like a figure 8 - on the bottom side of the glass. remove the interior panel and lower the window about 4". you should see the track . the screws are in the track. remove the screws and rotate the glass down in the front and lift it out. may help to have an extra set of hands.

Watch the video I posted. It can take a little strong arming to get the glass to break free.
