700r4 TV cable
454 quadrajet 700r4
Needs a proper tv cable bracket. The hokey extension is just that. Whats a better way?

A proper cable ,they come in different lengths .They allso make a universal cable that you can adjust the crb end that works pretty good .

Takes a bit of trial and error to make your own, but worth it. Make a pattern out of cardboard or thin plastic. Then find a piece of metal that works for you....I drilled a couple holes before getting the tension correct. Spacer or washers to level out the uneven carb side plate. I will post the new inproved 4bbl version later.

Heres one that I used have had no problems you adjust the length with the nut behind where it attaches to bracket once the length is set you adjust the tightness of cable ,very easy to set up.
