OBS truck parts

I saw this seller on FB and read kind of hit and miss reviews. Anybody purchased from them? Posts lots of seats, interior, misc body parts for sale. I was looking at rebuilt wing windows but he keeps telling me they fit 67-72 but I see the corner is round like 73+? Anybody have experience with this seller? Thanks.

I didn't notice any 67-72 parts though, unless they are under misc. or used.

Re: OBS truck parts

Everytime ive inq, about purchasing parts on fb marketplace they all want cash app or cash thru messenger or pp friends and family.. All red flags as you cannot get your money back.. Therefore all scams.
And if this guy sells obs parts but says theyll fit 67-72, he doesnt know his parts. Another red flag

Yup, I was getting the scam feeling. Bummer...I need a set. They were supposed to be powder coated and rebuilt with new seals.

Re: OBS truck parts

I scrolled back to posts from January. You think if they were a scam it would have been reported and removed by now?

This place says they are in CO. The number listed comes up as Phone type Landline - (802) 466-2352 - Area code location Swanton, VT?

Too many red flags.

Re: OBS truck parts

Looking for decent original parts, both useable and rebuilt or NOS you should really consider becoming a dues paying member here. I joined this fellowship of truck nuts over 22 years ago when I restored my '71 4x4. Even then it was a bit of a challenge to find good useable parts in the salvage yards for these trucks. More so for a 4x4, even then they rarely existed in a salvage yard. Now days, salvage yards are picked clean mostly if the yard even exists today.

There is a LOT of knowledge on this board and some great folks to gain that knowledge from who KNOW these trucks and are very willing to help to obtain those needed parts. Just some thoughts for you to ponder on. Good luck in your search for your needs.
