Need Help with Color Identification

I'm on the hunt for a color ID. Anybody have an idea on a close factory color by any make? Maybe somebody knows who owns this pickup. I want to copy it on a build of mine. Mods- delete if I can't link on Bring a Trailer.

Re: Need Help with Color Identification

Really nice truck. Great attention to detail and a lot of things are done right. Suspension, drivetrain, etc. Sold for way less than I would have thought. A lot of stuff I am doing different, but many are preference. Closest stock color I can see for 1971 is #504 metallic green.

Re: Need Help with Color Identification

F8 was my first guess. This looks have a little more gold in it. Maybe the desert background makes it look that way. Reading comments on bringatrailer it was mentioned that this was a completely custom mixed color by the painter.

According to the comments for that listing on B.a.T., the seller said, "I Call it Richard Green due to the fact Richard Lopez mixed it. It’s a custom mix and I do have leftover paint they will go with the truck." You may be able to contact B.a.T. user Sm955 to find out more about it. Nice looking color!

Re: Need Help with Color Identification

If you are looking for a stock color equivalent I would say its medium or dark gold poly.

If it has more green in it then perhaps GMC Metallic Willow Green. Hard to say I think the sunlight in that pic is washing out the green.

Re: Need Help with Color Identification

I think I found a pretty close representation. 2022 Subaru Autumn Green Metallic. What do you guys think? Would this be an easy enough color to spray for a beginner?

Also this will be a K25 with a black steal flatbed. Upper and lower trim. Any other color ideas?

That should look good. What wheels are you going with?
