1966 c20 , does factory A/c change engine harness location?

I've got a 66 c20 factory v8 A/C deluxe heat, wipers,ECT fully loaded. Having problems with wiring previous owner installed a 1972 350sbc and I'm afraid they swapped all wiring in process?

I have no engine harness connector and behind gauge cluster every single wire is butt connectors, but wrapped up right in one bundle. Was told dealer did engine swap was a fleet truck I think

Doesn't sound like a dealer engine swap, but who really knows?

It might just be easier to replace your wiring harness. I replaced my factory fuse block with a factory replacement from M&H Electric Fabricators, and I would go that route again if I had another truck
