1979 c10 power brake booster in 69 c10?
Can I use a 79 power brake booster/master cylinder from a 79 c10 in my 69 c10 without any modification? Are the pushrod lengths different or is the master cylinder different for 73-87 trucks?

Here is a link for a 78 once Josh gets it working. If you have column shift, ponder before you modify. Yes pushrod lengths from the booster to the pedal arm are different. Use the 79 MC with the 79 booster -- brake line connections should work.

I see the link is not working yet. If you modify the mount for a level fit as Palf70Step says your lower shifting arm may hit the booster. All pics but last one is a 79 booster modified. Last pic is a modified Fiero. Goodluck.

If you use the same hole on the 69 brake arm with the non-fulcrum boosters you will lose some pedal --still brakes satisfactorily tho. To get some pedal back --drill a new hole about 3/8" lower (remove arm is the easiest way). The rod length from the firewall mount to the brake arm is about 8.5". Adjustable is the best way --- do not preload the booster.
