I always figured trucks like this were plentiful out in Cali, but have learned that's not the case. I still can't believe this was only 22 miles from our door...

Randy, it actually was purchased new in Chamois at Baker Chevrolet. I hope to see you at a few events this year, especially the Midwest meet and the Midwest All Truck Nat's.

The rubber floor mats are one of my favorite features. I know that they're mainly a dealer add on, but still.

Nate,... where's the new avatar???

I really think you should keep your "original" user name. After all,... your black '72 is what got you where you are today. (kind of a tribute to your first 67-72 truck)
Plus EVERYONE knows you by that name.
All in favor?

Man Nate, that thing is gorgeous! What a find, and ready to cruise too.

How about you take a couple of pictures of the inside top of the door so I can see where the paint breaks on it. I can see in one of the pics that the white goes in to the rubber seal on the cab but I can't see the top inside of the door on any of them. Thanks.

Re: Time for a name change...

Rare, not necessarily, but it kind of depended on the original owner and how concerned they were with paperwork. Like most trucks, they were used as trucks and the paperwork is long gone.

They do sell remakes of the folders, so they're not "rare" but a great feature IMO.

Thanks for the kind words joekewel, you'll have to try and make it to the Midwest Meet and the Midwest All Truck Nats. If you have any questions about either event, pm me, or check the Missouri or Midwest sections of the board.

I'm still contemplating the name change, but it probably wouldn't end up 69cst.... for reason mentioned. Just kidding!

67_C-30, thanks for the comment. I'm impressed with your fleet and have only begun to catch up. The red '69 looks killer by the way; I love the stance!
