Re: My 72 gmc build

More pictures to come. These were all I have on my iPad right now. On a side note, how do I put multiple pictures in one post? This one-picture per post thing is kind of annoying.

Re: My 72 gmc build

Sweet!!! Glad to see it almost done!

If you have a photobucket or similar Image hosting site, just upload them there and then get the img embed code and you can paste them into a post. Hope this helps

Re: My 72 gmc build

I hope you don't mind if I save that pic, it looks great! I have an album pushing 500 pics of just 67-72 trucks and yours is worthy of the top 10

Really? WOW! That is awesome! Just don't expect any interior pictures soon. I still have a ways to go with that.

Give me a couple days and I'll put a better one up with all the mudflats put on. It looks way more finished with them than without

I definitely need something other than the steelies it has now. I may find a set of aluminum mag wheels for it

Re: My 72 gmc build

Paint those steelies up white and a set of caps, it will look great!

I will see if I can share the album from photobucket, it has been a pain lately so no promises.

The truck actually had the blue spiders when we bought it, but after having been used as a plow truck, they were as worn out as could be

Re: My 72 gmc build

That's what I was thinking. The steel wheels would really keep it looking like an old farm truck, which is what I'm going for

I'm glad you are keeping the steelies, they look great! Just needs some paint/powdercoat and maybe some caps and call it good!

Re: My 72 gmc build

Y'all will probably think this is neat. In kansas, you can register an antique vehicle with a year-of manufacturer license plate. I always thought it would be a cool personal touch for my old truck. My mom had made me a deal that if I found one, she would buy it for me for my 18th birthday. Well, by sheer luck, I found one FROM MY HOME COUNTY. So naturally I ordered it.

As soon as I can go down to the courthouse, I'll be able to run it as my actual tag

Re: My 72 gmc build

More pictures later, but I do have a question about installing a battery kill switch in my cab on the dash. Does anyone have any suggestions on doing this or links to threads about this?
