Got some Vortec heads!

I traded an old tunnel ram from a Camaro I purchased for a set of 99 Vortec heads that were new from the machine shop with fresh guides , cut for high lift and fresh springs. He threw in a new performer rpm and center bolt valve covers.
My truck is currently extremely under powered for my liking . It has a stock l48 350 with headers and a quadrajet. My guess is 250hp.
The new build will hopefully get me 350hp/400lbft with the new heads, intake and comp 262 extreme 4x4 cam.
I'll update soon when i start tearing into it!

Re: Got some Vortec heads!

I got lucky I guess . I put the tunnel ram up for sale or trade and someone actually had something I wanted!

I'm well aware of ls engines and all the glory but with this being an unplanned upgrade and having multiple other hot rod projects this will do for now!

I have a 1970 Camaro im building with an 05 lq4 and two t6566 turbos,
My current all around street, drag ,autocross car is a 2005 GTO 6spd that makes 496rwhp N/A on a Mustang dyno Runs 11.2's @124
