TMI Products Dash Pad

I just came across their dash pad. Looks like a new addition to their products. Looks pretty cool! Only 1 design for 73-87 though.

Re: TMI Products Dash Pad

There was someone that posted not to long ago about it. They liked it.

I have a friend that is getting the seats next week, delivered from LMC. I'm going to see it, when I go to pick my portion of the order up. I also watched a video that LMC just posted to YouTube about all the TMI products, they were installing all of it in a truck. The stuff looks GREAT!!!

Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrYf1955jZE&t=304s

Re: TMI Products Dash Pad

TMI makes good stuff. I used their products to redo a SN95 mustang interior one time. I thought their seat foam was a little to thick but the quality of everything was top notch and it all fit very well. I got a vinyl setup and I had to constantly tell everyone it wasnt leather.

I really like all the stuff they are coming out with for our trucks. I'm still on the fence about the dash pad though, I dont really like how they made the pass side of it as tall as the dr side. I need to see one in person I guess. I am seriously considering a set of the door panels though.

I kinda like the different look on the passenger side. That flat surface is a much better place to set your fast food while eating. I hardly ever put anything on the dash on the passenger side of my 76 because there isn't that much room.

So the only color they make is black, and you have to paint it with that vinyl paint/dye if you want other colors? Seems like it would scratch off on a dash.

There’s no doubt they make quality stuff! My friend has used them for the seats in his chevelle. I’m really thinking about redoing the interior with all
their stuff.

No they have other colors. That was the first option but now they make 3 choices that are mass produced. You can order direct from them and custom build with any color you want also.

Re: TMI Products Dash Pad

Hmmm...well imo I just dont like the look of a street rod themed truck interior-but thats me...I was around for all the 80s-90s custom rod interior trends....then that look infiltrated the muscle cars....and now the trucks. I may be getting old but I appreciate a stock dash and factory style seats-even if they are modern factory seats just have a different fit/feel imo. Having said that, IF I did go with newer style seats, it sure as hell better at least be power....heated even better.

Re: TMI Products Dash Pad

Anyone ever heard firsthand experience with justdashes.com?

Send them your old dash and they rebuild it it to near factory condition.

I have heard of them but no real experience. I’m not looking to replace the dash because I need one. In fact I installed a NOS dash a couple years ago when I finished the interior. I just like the look.
