It's a 62 GMC.
I have a 400 Pontiac engine, 4L85E trans., Dana 60 3.54 posi 6 lug rear thats going in it.
I have a rendering of what it will look like once done that I'm posting.

Love those 62's! nice to have that rendering as an end goal in your project, looks great. My buddy just put a Pontiac 400 in his 66 GMC longbed, hope you are going to start a build thread.

Just got her lots to do but not in terrible shape.
Gauge cluster not idiot lights and I have the original 283 engine block so of we go.

That's a nice Burb. Rare 4x4 K14 with an original 283. Does yours have a/c? Most had a straight 6 cyl 292. Mines a 66 k14 clam shell Burb out of southern Cali but mine has the straight 6 cyl. 4 speed with three rows of seats.

I'm looking for a middle and rear floor mat for my 66 Burb restoration. Has there been any progress on good reproduction mats after the revelation of the gentleman in this thread offered his mint middle mat for reproduction purposes?

Your Burb has a nice look inside and out, curious if you did the custom upholstery yourself or if you purchased it this way? the 67-68 full wheel covers look good too. Need some side view pics

Thanks! The upholstery was done by the previous owner, I've always liked those caps and made a trade deal for em, they will do until i swap to 5 lug and put supremes with pin whites on. will post side views when i get out

It has a very unique look that you don't often see on these year Burbs including the interior treatment. Always been a fan of Supremes with pin whites but hope you keep your current wheel setup so you can switch it up when/if you want, you rarely see those full wheel covers let alone on a Burb from this year, well done sir!

Cut coils in the front, removed the bump stops and brackets. The rear is 3in blocks. Going to notch and bag it soon. It doesn’t ride as terrible as I thought it was going to.
